This season of opportunity is much like the quiet before a storm.
During these times most of the church’s energy is focused inwardly on the desires of the established membership.
The real danger to this slippery slope of stagnation is that decline and spiritual irrelevance are inevitable unless spiritual renewal takes place.
An exclusively inward focus leaves no room for the full mission of the church.

During your first contact, Ed will describe what a partnership looks like in more detail and help you determine if the investment of your time and resources are appropriate.
Because a group of churches and individuals believes deeply in the effectiveness of Envision Solutions, there is some financial aid available for churches who need a partnership but can’t afford to carry the full weight of making an investment in their church’s health.
Honest Evaluation
Partnership begins by honestly evaluating your church’s spiritual health and missional effectiveness.
This usually takes place on the property of the church.
Understanding the church’s history and DNA will allow an evaluation process that does not disrespect the church’s history, culture, and traditions.
Key church leaders will participate in an assessment process that looks deeper than the Sunday attendance trends or the church’s offerings.
This one-day on site encounter will be followed by a number of information gathering exercises, which can take up to one month.
Envision Solutions
The solutions phase will present numerous ideas and resources that have the potential of being the launchpad for a spiritual renewal journey for your church.
Recommendations will focus on but are not limited to the following areas:
- The Solutions Plan, and how to transfer vision and values from leaders to members.
- Stewardship solutions for both general stewardship and capital stewardship needs.
- Spiritual renewal solutions that lead to deeper surrender and service for everyone.
Communication and contact will be ongoing as the church moves through each phase and takes each recommended step forward towards the revitalization of the church’s mission.
