About Ed Holland

For over three decades, Ed Holland has led churches with attendances ranging from 58 to 2,000.

He has been a part of a successful church plant as a founding Pastor and has led a historic legacy church through a time of church revitalization, so he understands the challenges that are unique to every season and size of church.

Because a church’s mission is about so much more than buildings, bucks and bodies, Ed’s true passion has been investing in people by focusing on the life-changing power of the Good News.

It’s true that numbers alone never tell the whole story but when spiritual values are only talked about and not practiced, there is an absence of lives being changed and it is time to assess the real values that are driving the church calendar.

Ed believes that focusing on the values that breathe life into a church is far more productive than cursing the symptoms that are easily seen. 

Ed is a friend of pastors and churches from many different Christian traditions and has been trusted to bring insights and solutions to some of the most challenging ministry circumstances that exist.

Although Ed can help design an overall strategy for developing new stewards in a church, he has found out that focusing on raising people rather than dollars is a far more sustainable and scriptural approach. 

On those occasions when the weight of debt or the burden to add facilities to facilitate ministry is necessary, Ed has a long track record of delivering custom designed campaigns rather than cookie cutter programs that make it possible for a church to bring their values into the real world.

He has found that discovering a church’s history and DNA must precede any effort to move forward and that real success is always seen in the unifying impact the church experiences when spiritual values lead the way to grow followers of Jesus Christ.
